SportsDirect launches in-depth team Power Rankings for four major sports
NFL, NBA, college football and college basketball teams analyzed, compared, and dissected into decisive team rankings.

SportsDirect Inc. announced the latest feature added to its content services package with the release of its multi-sport Power Rankings. All teams from the NFL, NBA, the 119 teams of college football, and 334 in college basketball are included in rankings that compare key statistical categories by league. The Power Rankings then format the teams into concise charts that allow readers to better analyze teams.
Power Ratings compute offensive and defensive statistics for each team, while accounting for factors like recent performances and strength of schedule. Each team is assigned a weekly placement. Power Ratings can be used as a baseline to compare current or future match-ups between two teams. The relative spread set by oddsmakers does not account for non-statistical factors like home-field advantage, recent injuries, game time decisions, rivalries, publicity, and weather.
