SportsDirect adds new clients and two new sports offerings, AFL and WNBA
Arena Football and Women’s Pro Basketball added to dynamic sports content while over 20 new sites jump on board with SportsDirect’s content services.

SportsDirect Inc. announced the launch of the newest sports added to its content services package with the release of Arena Football League (AFL) and Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). The latest sports join content offered in all the major sports leagues including the NFL, NBA, NHL, and college football. Included in the new offerings are statistics as far back as the 2000 season, scores, standings, injuries and match-ups.
In addition, SportsDirect Inc. welcomes Media General and the Los Angeles Newspaper Group (LANG) as the latest clients who have selected the company for it’s sports content offerings. LANG, with nine sites in total such as LADaily.com (online home of the Los Angeles Daily), will receive a full-sports package with all major sports covered. Media General and its various sites such as scnow.com (South Carolina), tricities.com (Tennessee and Virginia) as well as its 10 affiliate television sites will receive the NASCAR package.
