Comprehensive Sports Information, a leader in online sports news and statistics, today announced the creation of a new subsidiary, Covers Media Group. This new company will be based in Galway, Ireland and opened for business on January 12, 2004.
This new subsidiary will serve as the cornerstone of the Comprehensive Sports expansion into Europe and lead all business activities in the region. The creation of Covers Media Group is the first major step in establishing the Covers.com brand outside of North America. In addition to creating and growing online sports properties for Europe, Covers Media Group will also manage existing e-commerce properties: Covers Experts and Consensus Club.

Covers Media Group is led by long-time Comprehensive Sports executive Bill Organ, who has relocated to Galway. Mr. Organ was instrumental in the growth of Covers.com. He led the development of the editorial team at Covers.com and most recently headed operations for the organization. In addition to Mr. Organ, Covers Media Group opens with a marketing and technical team and will expand in the coming months.
